Join Kenneth and Virginia Springirth at Werner Books & Coffee on Saturday, September 26 for a book signing with their books about trains and poetry! Kenneth Springirth is the author of over fifty books and has had a lifelong interest in trains and trolleys. He believes in the importance of public transport and uses it whenever possible to get to public areas to take pictures for his books. He writes in a clear and informative style and provides the reader with comprehensive information. His passion for doing the best job possible comes from his father who was a streetcar motorman who went to work in a neat uniform with his shoes shined and pants pressed, and provided helpful guidance to passengers riding the service in Philadelphia by streetcar, subway, and sometimes commuter rail.
