PA Songbirds Teacher Workshop

PA Songbirds is a hands-on activity guide designed for K-8 classroom teachers, homeschool educators, scout leaders, any adult who wishes to engage children in hands-on science & environmental learning through the world of birds. Newly revised, this curriculum includes over 40 activities on topics ranging from the science of birds, to migration, and birds & people. Pennsylvania Songbirds is coordinated by DCNR - Bureau of State Parks. This guide was developed in partnership between PA DCNR - Bureau of State Parks and Audubon Mid-Atlantic. Participants will receive the new 475 page PA Songbirds: K-8 Teachers Guide.PA Certified Teachers also receive 6.0 Act 48 hours. Participants will explore aquatic ecosystems and gain practical lesson plans, fieldwork experience, and strategies aligned with PA STEELS standards. Earn 5.5 Act 48 hours.
