Katie Shesko: HazardCon 2026

​​​Hazard Con is a Japanese pop-culture convention, with a focus on anime, manga, and video games. Created by the local 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, Society of Utils, Hazard Con was created as a fun, all ages event for all pop-culture fans in the tristate area. Our vision is to provide a fun, safe environment for fans during a time of year when pop-culture events are sparse in the region. Flute Enchantress Katie Shesko is a video game and anime cosplaying flute player (who plays games fast). Her love for music ignited at a young age, and she soon discovered her affinity for the flute and was determined to merge her love of music with her love of video games. Beyond her musical prowess, Katie Shesko is also a formidable force in the world of video games. As a dedicated speedrunner, she has conquered the demanding Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild 100% and All Kilton Medals Categories. With every note she plays and every game she conquers, Katie Shesko continues to inspire and unite communities of music lovers and gamers alike, leaving a memorable mark on the worlds she explores through her flute and her gaming skills.
