Early Reader Book Club

About this event

This book club is designed to introduce emerging readers to awesome books. This program does not teach how to read, but is instead designed to excite kids about books and reading. This month we will read a Level 1 Early Reader Book called, "Duck, Duck, Dinosaur Perfect Pumpkin." Books will be picked up at the meeting. We will investigate the book! Who wrote the book? What is on the cover of the book? What do we think this book will be about? After we read part or all of the book then we will have fun with some activities and/or art that is inspired by the book. We want to excite and inspire the participants to take the book home and read, read, read!! Designed for K through 2nd grade. Registration is required. Books will be picked up at the meeting.
