A Take Back the Site vigil will be held at the place where Thoomas Heckathorn was murdered on August 8, 2026. Take Back the Site Vigil • We reclaim the place where violence has occurred. • We pray for all people who are harmed by violence, victims, shooters, bystanders, friends, families. • We believe that a nonviolent way of life is possible. Please join us in prayer on Wednesday, September 30, 5:15pm, West Poplar Street north of 32nd Street, the site where Thomas Heckathorm was murdered on August 8th.
